Class Format

The methods of instruction incorporated in our classes include reading assignments, lectures, collaborative group activities and discussions, hands-on skill stations and case-based reviews. Students are encouraged to arrive prepared to engage with the materials previously assigned. Students are expected to review the learning material independently, allowing classroom time to be dedicated to discussion, guided practice, collaboration, and applications of core concepts. Class sessions often involve case studies, problem solving, group work, reinforcement of skills and clarification of subjects and concepts.

By shifting passive learning outside the classroom and active learning into the classroom, accountability for learning the subject matter is encouraged, critical thinking skills are strengthened, and more opportunities are created for individual support.
